What is the difference between the TDC and the AGS sensor? The TDC sensor's measuring accuracy is determined by its calibration, with every calibration needing to be performed in precisely the same way.

In the case of the AGS sensor, calibration is performed automatically by moving the tip of the sensor towards the rotor segment, instead of moving the rotor towards the stator, which is the case when using a TDC.

It should be noted that calibration is possible during production with an AGS. The calibration can be performed with minimal risk of segment damage because the rotor and the stator are no longer moving towards one another during calibration.
